               15.5 Let’s Personalize this lesson…
For a person in ministry, it is easy to know the words of the Bible and may be dissecting them
rightly, but the challenge is living them out. Does this sound like you? In all his letters, John
challenges us to look at our daily lives to see whether our actions are indeed in line with our
words. This is John’s basic criteria: “The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil
has not seen God” (3 John 11). When both our words and deeds are aligned with the truth
and love of the gospel, what a powerful life we will have in the kingdom of God. Analyze
yourself, how will you live out the word of God you have read and heard today?
