1.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

Activity: You certainly do not have to know what a Muslim believes to witness to a Muslim.
But you will find that without a basic understanding of their belief system, you will have a very
difficult time witnessing to them. You may say things that offend them and cause a wall to be
built up between your communication. However, if you have a good understanding of what
they believe and how it differs from true Christianity, you will be much more effective in your witness. In this
course we will concentrate on how Islam’s beliefs contrast with the Bible, how they define their terms, and how to
make your witness most effective in leading them to Christ. At the conclusion of the course we will spend some
time reviewing a process of how to share your faith and successfully win a Muslim to Christ.
