Finally, the entire Bible was given to us to reveal to us who God is and his very nature. We treasure
God’s Word as it is the greatest Special Revelation to us so that we can know God.
               Can we Prove God’s existence?

We cannot put God in a test tube and prove His existence using the scientific method. But we can give
some very strong arguments to “prove” God’s existence.

First, the Bible states that it is God’s Word to us, and the Bible assumes God’s existence rather than
proves it. For example, in Genesis 1:1, the Bible begins with, “In the beginning God…” and declares His
existence as a matter of fact. God begins to create all that is known to us. And the Bible asserts that the
natural world (His creation) reveals His existence. Ps. 19, Is. 20:26, Acts 14:17, Rom. 1:19ff.

There are several philosophical proofs for God which help provide logical conclusions for His existence.
               They are:

                1. Cosmological argument (for every cause, there must be someone who caused
it). How could there be anything if there wasn’t a Cause (God) who was Uncaused
               (Romans 1:20)?

               2. Teleological argument – How could there be design in the world if there was
no Designer (God - Psalm 19:1-6)?

               3. Moral argument – Why would people recognize right and wrong if there was not moral Law Giver
               (Romans 2:14-15; James 4:12)?

               4. Ontological argument – Where would people get the idea of a Perfect Being (God) except from God
               Himself (Act 17:27; Romans 1:19)?
