15.1 Connect

So, you have learned, now it is time to apply what you have learned in a real-life sermon.
We are going to give you a passage of Scripture, and you must use what you have learned to
exegete the passage and create a sermon.

15.2 Objectives

1. The student should be able to take what has been taught and apply it to creating a couple of
sermons based on assigned passages.

15.3 From Text to Sermon

Using the following text of Scripture, formulate exegetical, theological, and basic and final
homiletical outlines. The final homiletical outline should include an introduction, transitional
sentences with keywords, and a conclusion.
