New Testament writers had the same perspective about God’s revealed word in general. Earnest study
               made one “acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. Solid food is for the mature, who by
               constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Heb. 5:13b, 14).” As Solomon
               observed the habits of the ant and applied them as lessons for the sluggard (Prov. 6:6-11), he was not
               just thinking about people who are physically lazy. “Remember, faith without diligence is slumbering

               delusion… Always, therefore, look at sloth, not as an infirmity, but as a sin, affecting the whole man.”
