11. The law makes you a slave like Hagar. (Galatians 4:24)

There you have 11 verses which inform the New Testament Churches (today’s churches) that they no
longer are to obey the rules of the Law to obtain righteousness. Specifically, Christians are not under
the law according to Romans.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.

The problem with putting believers today under the yolk of the tithe is that you are teaching that 10% of
all the money they receive belongs to God and 90% belongs to them. In reality, New Testament
teaching is that ALL (100%) of what we receive belongs to God. He may want me to channel 90% to
others and live on 10%. It is HIS call!
