Some people who hold a strong “Calvinistic” view believe God elected some people for salvation
and the rest for damnation. Those who are elected for salvation will be saved, regardless of
whether they want to be saved or not (free will). Those not elected have no possibility of
salvation even if they wanted to be saved (actually they believe that no one wants to be saved
because everyone is spiritually dead). Do you see any problem with believing this considering
all the Scripture we have looked at today?
Thankfully, Scripture says that God is not willing that any perish, but that all should come to repentance.
What a wonderful Savior we have!
