Activity: The Edomites where actually relatives of the Israelites. Jacob and Esau were
brothers, both the fathers of those two nations. Yet the Edomites mistreated the Israelites
every chance they could. They were actually most of the time considered enemies of Israel.
We will learn in the book of Nahum that God will eventually judge Edom for their mistreatment
of His chosen people. The prophet predicted that Edom would cease to exist as a people.
What do you think about that? Do you think God is just for bring judgment against Edom?
