opposite direction. As Christians it is our duty to stand up for biblical principles and scriptural truth, for
Truth is our country’s only hope.
The Book of Nahum
11.4 Let’s Practice…
1. Who did Nahum address this book to?
2. What was the purpose of his writing?
3. When will the “peace” of Nahum 1:15 come?
4. Do we ever reach a point that we cannot be forgiven (Nahum 3:19)?
5. Why did God judge Nineveh so harshly in the book of Nahum?
11.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…
Activity: Nahum was a preacher of true. He was one who declared God’s Word to the people
of Nineveh. God uses preachers today to declare His Word to His people all over the world. It
is a special privilege to be called to preach God’s Word. But sometimes we get the idea that the
preacher tells everyone what to do. Actually, the preacher in the Bible is called to shepherd
God’s flock…to lead by example and in a loving manner. What kind of preacher are you? Even
if you don’t actually stand in a pulpit every Sunday, you can declare God’s Word to believers and those
who are lost!
