13.4 Let’s Practice…

                         1. What is the theme of Joel?

2-4. Name at least three people groups that the minor prophets wrote against:

5-6. What did Hosea’s kid’s names represent? Also, what did his wife represent?

               7. What future does the theme “Day of the Lord” in Joel represents?

               8. What is the theological significance of the message of Obadiah to Edom?

               9. What is the theme of Habakkuk?

               10. What is the theme of Zephaniah?

               13.5 Let’s personalize this lesson…
Habakkuk struggled with divine justice. He did not expect the answer from God but God had a
plan that he did not see coming. He was going to use an unjust nation of Babylon to punish the
injustice that was happening in the nation of Judah. Many of us struggle with understanding
God’s ways because His ways are not our ways. Write a scaneio where you had a hard time
understanding God’s ways. How did you come to trust God’s plan even though you could fully
               understand it?
