This law states simply that life always comes from life. Observational science tells us that organisms
reproduce other organisms after their own kind and no exception exists. So to answer the proverbial
question, “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” the answer is God created a chicken and the egg is
the process whereby the chicken reproduces other chickens! This law negates the idea of evolution or
life coming into existence from non-life.
The Laws of Chemistry
God created elements of matter based on the number of protons, electrons, and neutrons that exist in
an atom of that element. These include oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, and so forth. These are the
building blocks of all matter and life. By combining these elements, God created compounds like water,
air, and the DNA molecule.
The properties of the elements and compounds are not arbitrary. In fact, in high school a students
learns the elements God created in the form of the periodic table, organized by physical properties.
Some are metals, some gases, some liquids. The atoms and molecules of things have their various
properties because their electrons are bound by the laws of quantum physics. Chemistry, therefore, is
based on physics, which is based on mathematics.
Laws of Planetary Motion
The Law of Planetary Motion simply states that because of the existence of other laws (Law of gravity
and Law of Motion), that the universe is in motion in elliptical orbits and that as a body approaches the
focus of the ellipse, it speeds up. It also states that the further a body is from the focus of the ellipse,
the slower it revolves around the focus. Isaac Newton discovered from these Laws (Kepler’s laws), that
the laws of physics could be derived mathematically.
Laws of Physics
The Laws of Physics describe the behavior of the universe at its most fundamental level. It describes
how light moves through space, how energy is bound up in molecules and released, and how bodies of
matter respond to other bodies.
There are numerous laws of physics that govern all natural law. They are usually mathematical in
nature and can be described by formulas, such as E=mc2. The simple formula, F = ma shows how an
object (m) will accelerate (a) when a net force (f) is applied to it. Some of the laws of physics are not
based on other laws. Some exist only because God wills them to. An example of this is the nucleus of
an atom. We know like charges repel one another. Yet, bundled in every atom are a bunch of protons,
all positively charged, yet they remain clumped together.
The Laws of Logic
All the laws of nature depend on the laws of logic. Like mathematics, the laws of logic are transcendent
truths. For example, the law of noncontradiction says that is something is true, it cannot also be false.
For example, Jesus said He was the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. And that no man would come to God
except through Him. That statement cannot be both true and false. Either Jesus is THE WAY and only
way, or He is not. The laws of logic came from the mind of God.
The atheist cannot account for the laws of logic, even though he must accept him to live in any kind of
rational world. The atheistic world view is that moral law does not exist. Good is only good in the mind
of each person. A terrorist may think that killing people is good. Hitler thought that killing Jews was a
good thing. If goodness and evil are based on what the majority thinks, then this type of thinking defies
logic. Good and evil must be based on some truth outside of ourselves!
