Activity: When we have a need, we talk to God about it. But often we make sure others know of
our need so they can help. This demonstrates a lack of trust in God. It’s a lot like Abraham who
was promised a son. He waited and no son arrived. So he decided to have a son by his wife’s
servant. He took control of his own life to “assist” God in getting the job done. But that is not
pleases God. He wants us to trust in Him, and in Him alone. The life of George Muller
demonstrated that God can do amazing things if we will but trust in HIM. How have you seen God move in your
life when you solely trusted in Him?
