P. 33
1 Cor. 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God
was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
1 Cor. 2:4 …and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in
demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
Titus .1:3 …but at the proper time manifested, even His word, in the proclamation with which I was
entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior.
1 Timothy 2:3–7 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be
saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and bone mediator also between
God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who agave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the
proper time. For this I was appointed a preacher and ban apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying)
as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Note: If Christ came to save sinners, “saved ones” must defend the Gospel.
