So thick and stiff and hail like

Bleed… as loud as a siren

Tell soil, sand and soul your name

               Bleed… floods

               Smiles

               Twilights

Bleeeeeed! to protect the landscape of your heart

To cover the geography of your body

To keep the altar of your church

               Anonymous…bleed

               Through everything and things

… out of time and moments

… out of her-story and places

… out of rage and spaces

… out of page and stages

                Bleed over things and people

Just like how we have soaked you into blood

               And drowned you with slurs

               Just let your vagina bleed

               And breathe

               And scream

As the only evidence that ‘You Lived’

               CHILD… bleed so that his-story doesn’t erase
