                                            GRAIN BIN RESCUE TUBE DONATION

                                            recently presented a $2,000 cheque to
                                            Andrew Dalgarno, Captain of the R.M. of
                                            Harrison Fire Department, Station #1 –
                                            Newdale. Dalgarno is also the Secretary
                                            and Treasurer of the South Central
                                            Mutual Aid District (SCMAD) in Manitoba.
                                            SCMAD is a partnership between nine
                                            Fire Departments, including Minnedosa,
                                            Newdale, Strathclair, Sandy Lake,
                                            Erickson, Rapid City, Rivers, Onanole, and
                                            Oak River that work together to provide a
                                            variety of firefighting and rescue services.
                                            This donation will assist SCMAD in
                                            purchasing three Grain Bin Rescue Tubes
                                            to be shared among the district to assist in
                                            grain entrapment rescue incidents, which
                                            have been on the rise following the difficult
                                            harvests of 2019 and 2020.
