The mission of Crisis Center North is to empower victims of domestic violence and cultivate community attitudes and behaviors that break the cycle of violence.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic 18 months ago, Crisis Center North (CCN) has been navigating two concurrent public health crises: the coronavirus and gender-based violence. Yet, despite the extraordinary challenges of our time, YOU have stood with us with unwavering support.
YOU supported survivors through our signature fundraiser, Cocktails & Cuisine, for the past two years in its virtual format, raising over $150,000 for CCN clients and their families!
YOU supported survivors through numerous community fundraising initiatives, such as Giving Tuesday, Critical Needs Alert, and Pittsburgh Gives, as well as CCN’s Annual Appeal!
YOU supported survivors by attending CCN’s Hearing the Whispers & Roars Survivor Art Exhibit at North Hills Art Center, the Passport Microloan Committee’s Trivia Night fundraiser,
and October’s inaugural PAWS Against Domestic Violence 5K Pet Walk!
YOU supported survivors through the generous donations of personal care items, furniture, groceries, cleaning products, gift cards, school supplies, and much more!
YOU supported survivors by being active on CCN’s social media pages, helping to spread awareness of our mission, services, and initiatives!
On behalf of Crisis Center North’s board of directors, staff, volunteers, and the thousands of victims of domestic violence and their families we serve each year, we sincerely THANK YOU for your continued support!
