The Cuttlefish Man
“Of course, you nitwit!” he shouted at me,
“I hate to leave the safety of the sea!”
And here abruptly we came to a halt,
Next to what looked like the door of a vault.
The Cuttlefish Man lashed out at the steel;
It didn’t appear to give a great deal.
“I have returned to seek vengeance,” he said,
“But there is little time—I’ll soon be dead!”
