The mind’s I to I

The ancients thought the eyes threw darts
Or showed the workings of our souls;

Today we think we’ve got the smarts
To say what goes through those black holes

Is light that’s bounced off vision charts
Or feedback of the viewer's roles:

Yet seeing things together starts
Us first to picture common goals,

Then synchronize our beating hearts
As imagery we now share scrolls

On screens no sciences or arts
But only tenderness controls.
