1999: Y2K bugs on the wall
Single 8.5x11” sheet folded in quarters.
Front panel Inner right panel
Text:
Ninety-nine bothersome years on the wall,
Ninety-nine bothersome years:
When all of that century happens to fall,
Plenty of Y2K bugs on the wall!
Parodying an anonymous counting song:
Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall,
Ninety-nine bottles of beers:
Should one of those bottles happens to fall,
Ninety-eight bottles of beer on the wall!
Note: “The Y2K bug” was a widely anticipated and feared computer
programming flaw (“bug”) in older systems allocating only two digits
for year dates in fixed file formats. It was fixed almost universally
ahead of 1999 advancing to 2000 in the affected software.
