Deploying the merry-go-round:
The construction is not mechanically precise—but I have tested each
one to verify it can be pushed and pulled, bent and twisted into a
simulacrum of its ideal form. Don’t worry about any rough edges or
gaps: I couldn’t avoid them, and I do apologize. Note that upon
completion, the roof will overhang at Taurus, Cancer, Virgo,
Capricorn and Pisces, slightly locking into place between each of
their adjacent panels.

Deploying the pennant (optional):
Unfortunately, you are on your own. You may have to create an
aperture or reduce what is already there. Glue is advised. If small
children or animals have access to it, please omit it.

2020 vision: reinventing the wheel

These animals wheeling about
Have nothing in common with stars
Or planets or gods,* so we doubt
That sheep are as warlike as Mars.

And straddling Earth’s ecliptic plane,
Their shadows cast a horoscope
That almost makes the cryptic plain;**
Yet many still deplore that hope.

A merry-go-round is the thing
The zodiac mimics spot on:
But riders can’t grab a brass ring
Or leave the first beast they got on.
