No straw can be kept,
At least the last one
Can’t be demoted
From sweeper to swept.
Life isn’t
Half as bad
Unconfined
To quarters.
If you can’t be
Precisely specific
Why be
Imprecisely specific
Instead of
Precisely unspecific?
If I believed
That what I was
Was what I ate,
I’d become a
Dietician
And feed my fate.
