          Recipe for Broccoli Fritters
A lot of people don’t like eating broccoli, but these fritters are so tasty, everyone will be asking for seconds!
 You will need:
Saucepan with lid Sieve
Chopping board Sharp knife
Mixing bowl
Metal spoon Non-stick frying pan Spatula
450 g broccoli florets
2 large eggs, beaten
65 g hard cheese, grated
4 tablespoons of plain flour 1 garlic clove, crushed
Salt and pepper
Vegetable oil
  1 Fill the saucepan with water and put the lid on. Then put it on the stove to boil.
2 Ask an adult to help you put the broccoli florets into the boiling water and cook them for 5 minutes.
3 Drain the broccoli in the sieve and put them on the chopping board.
4 Ask an adult to help you cut the broccoli into very small pieces.
5 In the mixing bowl, mix the chopped broccoli, beaten eggs, grated cheese,
flour and garlic. Add salt and pepper.
6 Place the non-stick frying pan over a medium heat until hot.
7 Add the oil and make sure it covers the bottom of the pan in a thin layer.
8 Use the metal spoon to scoop out 2–3-tablespoon mounds of the
broccoli mixture into the pan, then flatten the mounds slightly with the spatula and space them about 2 cm apart.
9 Cook the fritters for 2–3 minutes, flip them once, then cook them for an additional 1–2 minutes until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
10 Serve warm with tomato ketchup, mayonnaise or sweet chilli sauce.
