“And they sound like thissssssss,” said Meep, giving a long hiss.
Hugo started to giggle.
“And here’s the meerkat enclosure,” Zoe continued.“Meerkats love to burrow too. Would you like to see them?”
Hugo grunted that he would.
Zoe went over to the meerkat enclosure and felt for the silver paw-print charm on her necklace. It had been a gift from Great-Uncle Horace – the charm opened the gates to all the enclosures in the zoo! Zoe held the charm next to a pad on the gate. It swung open.
