“Or the zebras,” said Grace.
As her group started arguing about which animal they each wanted to adopt, Zoe sighed.They were never going to agree!
All of a sudden Mr Pinch gave a yell. “Ow! I’ve been attacked by some prickly leaves!”
Zoe looked down at her lap ... and found that it was empty! “Where’s Hugo?” she said. She hopped down from the wall and looked over at Mr Pinch. “Uh-oh,” she said when she saw a ball of leaves in his hand.A very spiky ball of leaves! “I’m so sorry, Mr Pinch.That’s Hugo, the baby hedgehog. Great-Uncle Horace just rescued him.”
