Do you want to know a secret? OK, but don,t tell ANYONE or they,ll totally and utterly FREAK OUT. Here it is: silly superstitions are COMPLETELY TRUE!
There was this man, right, and a black cat walked in front of him one afternoon . . . and just 70 years later he dIeD of old age! And that’s a fAcT.
And this other time, oK, there was a girl and she walked under a ladder and the very next week she sneezed in front of the coolest kid in school and a BoGeY flew out of her nose and hit them RiGhT iN ThE LiP and they were sick! Coincidence? aS iF!
Scary stuff. But if you think YoU’vE GoT iT BaD dealing with dreadful superstitions like these, the Aztecs had some proper doozies . . .
Watch out! A jaguar!
Oh PLEASE, black cats are FINE.
Animals featured heavily in Aztec superstitions. But they were generally more cReEpY, squeaky and warty than black cats.
