a little more elaborate. They had tombs which were decorated with pictures of their feats in life, like that time they ate a WhOlE sWaN in one go and that other time they did a HaNdStAnD for five Whole minutes without falling over.

Around the fifth century BC, doctors thought illnesses were caused by an imbalance of fluids in the body, so “bloodletting” became popular. If you were feeling poorly, a doc would cut open one of your veins, letting blood flow out into a bowl. If you were REALLY lucky you might get a leech or three popped on to your body to suck the blood out! It´s as gruesome as it sounds and guess what – it doesn´t even work.
