Why did you acquire it?
I acquired it because it’s a great story about the massive- ly challenging move from primary to secondary school, about staying true to yourself in the face of peer pres- sure and also because there are no other books that have a cat as the lead singer in a band.
Synopsis
Petunia Perry’s life is fraught with problems. Her mother is a chronic over-sharer, something that reaches peak embarrassment at the first parents’ evening at her new secondary school, and her best friend, Cammy, isn’t really speaking to her any more because she accidentally told the class she was named after a smelly French cheese. And the boy at school who has a crush on her keeps drawing her as a unicorn.
