The moon has no atmosphere and no weather, and there are no rivers or oceans. But the temperature can change a huge amount in one day, from 120°C to -233°C. That’s much, much hotter and colder than it’s ever been on Earth. In normal clothes, you’d die in less than ten minutes! Luckily, astronauts’ spacesuits keep them safe in these extreme temperatures.
