Put a ‘No Junk Mail’ sign on your door to reduce how much paper you waste.
Only buy products that contain sustainably sourced palm oil. To create palm oil, an area of rainforest the size of 300 football pitches has to be chopped down each hour!
‘Eco’ products tend to cost more, but if we all keep buying them, the prices should go down.
Wear an extra layer on cold days rather than turning the heating up.
To reduce the number of jungle trees that need to be cut down, don’t print things out if you don’t need to.
Learn about which companies clear rainforests to make their products and avoid buying from them. Only buy wood that is certified by the FSC. This means it has been grown from a well-managed forest.
