JUNE 2023 STUDENT EXCHANGE
9B TO COLOGNE
Dear parents, students and friends
"Lets dance" - this was the motto of the exchange program between a group of 9B students from
our school and the Ursulinen Gymnasium in Cologne during the first week in June.
Our students were accommodated in host families with students of the Ursulinen Gymnasium in
Cologne and worked together during the week on a dance performance of German and Palestinian
dances, which was then presented on Wednesday evening (7 June) to the parents of the Cologne
high school and the teachers.
The students visibly enjoyed the project, which was framed by a visit to Phantasialand, the famous
Cathedral and the Old City of Cologne - and a lot of opportunities to dive into the German language
and getting to know German culture from inside.
In September, the Ursulinen Gymnasium students from Cologne will make a return visit to Jerusalem,
which we are already looking forward to.
