From Wednesday 28 November to Saturday 1 December a four day festive extravaganza will arrive in the town centre and officially kick start Barnsley’s countdown to Christmas.
Barnsley will sparkle with illuminations; bright colours and imaginative installations will light up the town centre, and a specially commissioned show stopping projection will transform Barnsley Town Hall into a digital masterpiece.
The town hall will become the canvas for this breath-taking digital arts display; a dramatic new projection capturing the Christmas spirit will illuminate the iconic town hall.
The traditional Christmas fireworks display will also take place along with plenty of family entertainment, including Christmas stalls, a range of festive food and drink stalls, carol singers and fun fair rides, transporting Barnsley to the magical land of Christmas.
Spark! LED Drummers will also be lighting up the town centre when they perform; prepare to be dazzled by their magical theatrical show which combines high-impact drumming, dynamic choreography and beautiful lighting design. Watch these mysterious characters composed of light and sound illuminate Barnsley.
