Planning your journey
Easily accessible from the City Centre, just one mile north of Princes Street. The John Hope Gateway visitor centre is accessed via the West Gate, Arboretum Place. The Garden’s East Gate is served by local buses 8, 23 and 27 from the City Centre. If you are travelling by car, please choose the West Gate Entrance.

Family tickets: 2 adults + 2 children aged 4–16. Two Under 4s tickets per one Adult ticket only. For tickets booked via rbge.org.uk/christmas: £2 per transaction for print at home tickets, £2.50 for tickets sent by first class post. Tickets can be purchased at the Botanics’ John Hope Gateway by debit and credit
card only. No transaction charge for tickets purchased and collected in person at the John Hope Gateway.

Dining at the John Hope Gateway Restaurant
Four sittings available 5.30pm, 6.00pm, 6.30pm and 7.00pm. Enjoy a choice of festive 2 or 3 course menus. Adults 2 courses £19.95, 3 courses £23.00.
Children 2 courses £7.95, 3 courses £9.95.
Prices in addition to your trail ticket. Bookings should be made online/by phone at the time of your ticket purchase.
Christmas at the Botanics is an event presented in the natural landscape. Whilst every effort is made to make the trail fully accessible, by its very nature it will on occasion cover difficult terrain particularly during inclement weather.
In these circumstances there will be additional steward support available for assistance. Information correct at time of print.
