Friends making windows with wow factor for three decades
For windows with the ‘wow’ factor there’s only one place to go in Kempston – Creative Windows.

and Michael Baines first started working together three decades ago, but since 2013 they have been enhancing an already enviable reputation as glazing gurus.
From starter homes to 10-bedroom mansions
the pair apply the same philosophy to every job they do – trust, honesty and integrity.
“Customer service is incredibly important to us,” says Mark. “The most important thing is being able to provide the service that you said you were going to provide. Do what you say you were going to do.”
Based on the Woburn Road Industrial Estate,
Creative Windows is a close-knit, efficient outfit, with Michael’s son-in- law Anthony ‘Tosh’ Trotter completing the team.
Everything is made to measure and the business is proud that post-Brexit what comes out of the factory is British – right down to the Yale locks on the windows and doors.
The company also makes doors and conservatories.
Mark cheerfully admits that he and Michael know “almost everything there is to know” about the trade.
“We have a proven track record,” he said. “We both started out in the 1980s. We know all the ins-and-outs, the quirks, the good points and the bad points.
“That’s why we manufacture our own windows – so there aren’t any bad points!”
Making their own products also strengthens communications with their customers.
“There are no salesmen or surveyors in between and customers appreciate dealing with the same person throughout the whole project,” said Mark.
Each member of the team is qualified and certified, but it is the decades of experience that customers really appreciate.
“Our vision is making your house a more impressive home, and being in the industry so long means we know what works and what doesn’t,” said Mark.
“We have stood the test of time and are still here producing a great window system.
“And we intend to do so for many years to come.”
