SCANDI STYLE
We can’t think of a more perfect inspiration for your home this winter than the comfort and cosiness of
a traditional Scandinavian lodge. Scandinavian interiors have a feel of warmth and comfort, safe from the elements, and the natural colours and textures are bang on trend as we move towards 2020.
This style is practical and comfortable, but not over exuberant. It embraces natural materials and is very influenced by the natural world. Look for neutral base colours such as warm beige or grey and add a hint of natural colour with accessories in warm olive green or dusky rose pink. Wood is always

If one item screams ‘Scandi-chic’
it’s a shaggy sheepskin throw or rug. These add instant comfort to a room as well as the natural textures that are important for this style to work.
A classic brown leather ‘Butterfly’ style chair also works brilliantly here with a faux-fur cushion for added texture. All you need to add now is a super-sized candle, a mug of hot chocolate and a good book and you’re all set for a cosy Nordic-style winter.
