write the scripting for the next section, and so on until I have all

the scripts I need for my course.

I do want you to notice that I asked for “about 750 words” for the

introduction. The reason for that is that we live in a time of short

attention spans. Keeping your online course videos to roughly 5

to 7 minutes is the ideal time to increase engagement with your

students and decrease boredom. You can go up to 10-15

minutes if needed, but only if you really need to. You’ll want

each spoken script to be 750 to 1400 words long to match that.

We’ve covered a lot in this chapter. Now you know how to not

only use AI to create the outline of your online course, but also

create the actions your students will take and even script your

entire online course. You’re literally half-way done building your

course and it’s probably only taken you a few hours. I

mentioned I’ve built many courses in my career and a complete

course would take me about a month to create in the past. Now

you can get half of it done in a single day without knowing

anything about the subject matter. These are wild times we live

in.
