Stopping Trains:
When all rail traffic needs to be
stopped, send a priority message via
ComCen, to request the National Train
Control Centre (NTCC) stop the rail
traffic
As a pre-warning, dispatch one crew
member with a portable radio 1.5km
up the track, on either side of the inci-
dent, to watch out for train traffic, and
provide warning for Fire and Emergency
personnel working on or near the track
Working Near Electrified Lines:
Treat all lines as live until notified by
NTCC that the system is safe
