and provides a monumental opportunity to help older adults remain active and

statewide Senior Volunteer Transportation Network to link existing and new
programs, create thirty new senior volunteer transportation programs, and to expand the capacity of existing partner programs by 30%. These goals are projected to be completed by the end of the three-year grant period.

of Tennessee over the next three years (beginning April 15, 2018). Each new program
would be awarded $30,000 for startup and legacy programs received $15,000.
In year one, the total amount spent statewide was $837,084. This included new programs, legacy programs, volunteer insurance, background checks, software, marketing, travel, salaries, benefits, etc.
