• Do not re-enter the building until told it is safe by either the police or fire department.

Use the PASS technique when using a fire extinguisher:
• Pull the pin to release the handle.
• Aim the extinguisher at the base of the fire
from a distance of several feet. • Squeeze the handle to start the
extinguisher.
• Sweep the nozzle back and forth at the
base of the fire.
