INJURY OR ILLNESS
If you become aware of a seriously ill or injured person, you should:
• Dial 9-1-1
Provide the following information:
• Your name and number that you are calling from • Description of injury/incident
• Where assistance is needed (specific location
information- floor number and department) • The name of the injured person(s)
Do not attempt to move a seriously injured person.
Ask a co-worker or nearby person to notify the receptionist. This will reduce delays when emergency personnel arrive at the location.
Non-Emergency Illness
First aid supplies are provided for self-treatment.
Work-related Illnesses and Injuries
Anyone who sustains an injury or illness while performing work-related activities must contact their supervisor/manager to report the injury or illness immediately, regardless of the severity.
