GRACE DAVIS AND COMPANY
Grace Davis and Company, a women’s boutique in downtown Dyersburg, was a dream come true for its owner, Denise Fisher. Creating a quaint little shop is something she said she always wanted to do. She named the boutique by combining her daughters’ middle names, “Grace” and “Davis.”
Opened in November 2023 at 215 McGaughey Street, Grace Davis offers high-end, style du jour clothing and accessories, exclusive brands available only in the most select shops. Fisher travels to fashion markets, most recently to chic shows in Atlanta and Dallas, to see and procure the latest styles.
Fisher said, “We offer styles that are a little bit more expensive but a lot classier.” Among the exclusive brands Grace Davis sells: Dolce Cabo fine vegan leather and the Cream Yoga line of apparel.
Describing it as a “special, quaint little boutique,” she said Grace Davis’s employees also help to create the perfect shopping experience. “The staff is great,” she said, “and help customers find apparel and jewelry perfect for their wants and needs.”
Fisher exclaimed that she is excited to be a part of downtown Dyersburg’s revitalization. Remembering when downtown was the center for shopping and activity, she remarked that she thinks that downtown is becoming great again. Grace Davis is bringing a touch of style to downtown’s rebirth, it’s renaissance.

Established in 1931, Security Bank has served the community for 93 years. With seven locations in Dyer and Gibson Counties and a staff of 80 employees, Security Banks is dedicated to serving residents and enterprises alike. It is in business to (1) provide quality services and financial products; (2) continue to be a responsible corporate citizen and leader in business; (3) maintain a rewarding, nurturing environment for employees; (4) maximize total earnings over the long term through carefully managed growth consistent with conservative business practices and balance sheet structures.
Security Bank offers a full range of products and services for their customers: personal and commercial deposit accounts; mortgage and commercial loan options; cutting edge online services for consumers and commercial clients.
A homegrown institution, Security Bank is one built on financial strength and integrity. Their corporation was chartered as a state bank on April 3, 1931. The bank grew from their first branch in downtown Newbern as the Newbern State Bank. As the institution grew and established branches throughout Dyer and Gibson Counties, the name
changed to Security Bank.
What distinguishes Security Bank is its area involvement. The majority of their advertising dollars are poured back into our community. It comes down to this, said an employee of Security Bank: “Community is our purpose for being here.” Security Bank and staff are heavily involved in local educational, civic, and religious organizations.
