ALVINO’S PIZZA
For decades, Alvino’s, at 112 N Main Avenue in downtown Dyersburg has been the place to go for authentic Italian food. Owned since 2019 by Jacky Goad and Jason Scott, the pair decided from the beginning to keep founder Tony Agresta’s recipe for pizza. And while they have added other dishes, they have stuck with the tastes that made Alvino’s a success.
Manager Noah Scott explained, “We’re a mom and pop Italian joint and serve really good pizza, really good Italian meats, really good Chicago hot dogs.” He added, “We
get the Italian meats and the hot dogs from Chicago—we serve authentic Italian food.” He also stated that most of their customers keep coming back because Alvino’s is the real deal.
Alvino’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
