P. 5
The commitment to purchase your first
home is a highly personal one, and it is
one of the most exciting and significant
decisions you will make.
The real estate market can be difficult to navigate
and takes time, thought, and research. If you are
feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin,
my best advice is to start by answering the following
questions:
• How long have you wanted to buy a house?
• How long have you been at your current job?
• What are your personal preferences regarding the
type of housing and location you wish to live?
• How long do you expect to live in your new house?
• Do you expect your personal situation to remain
the same in terms of future housing needs?
• How much have you saved for the down payment
and closing costs?
• Are you financially ready to take on home
maintenance and repairs?
• How much more money can you afford to spend
per month on housing?
• Do you know the documents needed to apply for
a loan?
After trying your best at answering these questions,
contact us so we can discuss what you need to get
started on buying your first home!
