WE ARE UTC
The Utilities Technology Council (UTC) UTC was founded in 1948 to advocate allocating
additional radio spectrum for power utilities. Over the last 75 years, UTC has evolved into
a dynamic organization representing electric, gas, and water utilities, natural gas
pipelines, critical infrastructure companies, and other industry stakeholders.
Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, UTC creates a favorable business,
regulatory, and technology environment for our members who own or operate
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems supporting their core
business.
We are a network of more than 300 leading organizations, transforming how the world
views, values, and manages utilities - from local communities to states, regions and
nationally.
