SUBMARINE GEL ELECTROPHORESIS UNIT

BioEra’s Submarine gel electrophoresis units are available in three sizes to fit different needs. Electrode
placement ensures a uniform electric field and clear banding. Easy to use gel casting system with silica
rubber and screwing system ensure leak proof casting of gel. No tapes, casting dams or other accessories are
required. The tray can withstand hot agarose (as high as 65°C) during casting. Two comb positions allow user
to run one or two series of samples for sample flexibility.
Electrodes can be easily detached from the unit, which allows easy cleaning and maintenance of the unit.
Systems include Basic Unit (buffer chamber), Gel Preparation Boat, Set of Combs, Set of Electrodes, set of
electric cords (see specifications for comb sizes below).
