Rabbi’s Message
There is a quote “LIFE is a day that lies between two NIGHTS – the night of 'not yet' before birth and the
night of 'no more' after death”.
And (physical) death is a NIGHT that lies between two DAYS – the day of 'life' in this world and the day
of 'eternal life' in the world to come.
Our journal is dedicated to the memory and eternal existence of our departed loved ones; their Neshama –
their G-dly soul.
Special thank you to our supporters and our dedicated shul staff.
By contributing to Tzedaka and performing mitzvot we bring elevation to the souls of our departed loved
ones. Our connection to them is permanent. May we always be inspired to remember and increase our
goodness in merit of our departed.
Am Yisrael Chai!

President's Message
TZEDAKAH AND CHESED CHARITY AND KINDNESS ARE IMPORTANT THEMES IN JEWISH
LIFE.
When we practice and integrate these themes into our everyday life, we are fulfilling our purpose and
mission on earth. We assist Hashem by delivering these crucial ingredients to his creation and in return
He takes care of us and deals with us in kindness.
Like good soldiers we follow His directives and emulate his giving trait by supporting each other,
our community and our nation of Israel.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who generously participated in making the
Memorial Journal so Memorable. Your support and contributions have made a significant difference in
honoring the memories we cherish.
May we always be able to continually be charitable and kind and may we all go from strength to strength
in good and complete health, and be a light unto the nations and for each other.
Good fortune, health and mazal tov to all.
AM ISRAEL CHAI
