3, and 4) into its management information system for mid-program and end of program evaluations. It
analyzes the data to determine performance delivery and makes decisions regarding changes that are
required for the improvement of student satisfaction and graduation rates.

18.3 Educational Programs Structure and Content

GAU’s educational programs are designed to emphasize both breadth and depth of student learning. They
challenge students to integrate knowledge and develop skills of analysis and inquiry. Commencing with
the undergraduate and progressing to graduate studies, students encounter content and apply a
methodology for the principal areas of knowledge resulting in advanced expertise in understanding their
academic disciplines or concentrations. The institution places great emphasis on stakeholder satisfaction
with program offerings. Therefore, as previously stated, surveys are conducted to obtain data on student
               satisfaction.

18.4 Educational Policies, Structure and Practices

The institution recognizes that effective programs rely heavily on and are supported by educational
policies and procedures and practices that are in tandem with their mission objectives. Here, it is
important to note that the input of stakeholders and their participation is affected by policies, procedures
and practices. Therefore, they must be supportive, and all coursework undertaken must meet the rigor,
have substance and standards directly related to the desired learning outcomes. GAU aims to protect the
integrity of its degrees and maintains responsibility for the quality of learning practices. Providing
supportive resources (including library and learning/information resources) is a primary objective, and
ensuring that students have access is a hallmark of the institution's efforts in this regard.

18.5 Academic and Student Support Services

GAU strives to enhance student learning experiences and understands the importance of the learning
environment for success. Therefore, it provides academic and student support programs and services
consistent with its mission objectives. The ease with which students can access these services act as
guarantors of success in their academic programs.

Faculty members are expected to volunteer as student advisors and mentors. Through the Learning
Management System, faculty can confirm their interest in serving as a faculty advisor/mentor.

               18.6 Administration and Faculty
The institution’s programs and courses are delivered with the support of administration and faculty.
Administrative staffing is shown in the organization chart (Appendix A). The faculty comprises both full-

18.7 Employment, Duties and Policies for the faculty
GAU employs faculty whose qualifications and experience are judged to have met the academic
requirements for the courses they teach or for which they provide instructions. Their numbers are
