After working at Tektronix in Oregon; Morgan Stanley; and McKinsey, Arjun founded venture capital firm, TeleSoft, in 1996.
He has overseen investing in and helping build 61 tech companies, of which 41 companies have gone public or been acquired.
In 2001, he started a foundation which has helped co- fund over 90 projects in the US, India and Africa. This speaks to Arjun’s incredible generosity. It is interesting that, in surveys of repeat entrepreneurs about what is important to them, the highest response was “intuition” and the second was “giving back to others.”
Arjun loves the outdoors. He has been on ski expeditions to the North and South poles, rafted through the Grand Canyon, climbed in the Himalayas, and done horseback treks in New Zealand and Morocco.
Arjun is a Trustee of the Aspen Institute in the US and India, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Rocky Mountain Institute. He is an ardent proponent of the Socrates Program and is a Henry Crown Fellow. Recently, Arjun was an Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard University.
There is so much that Arjun can teach us about decision making and success in business and in life.
