One must be open to a perspective that accepts our ability to perceive, with some accuracy, the future.
At the state level, one can use both the deep dream or nothingness state as well as the witness state through meditation to access an intuitive direction or answer.
Generally, this works best when you have a specific problem you want to solve or a specific intention and want intuitive input.
You put together a question prior to sleep or meditation and then attempt to either the pure witness with no judgement or a feeling of absolute nothingness for a period of time – usually 20 or 30 minutes. The important thing here is to get to a state where thinking no longer exists.
Intuitive experience during stages of consciousness.
Stages are less important to the effect of intuitive input. In fact, one could argue that people who have a strong “me” focus have more access to their intuition, simply because their intellect has not progressed beyond the creative stages of life.
Summarizing the Integral Life, one has the ability to move into a deeper meditative states to receive intuitive input generally around specific issues or questions.
