What does it mean to live an intuitive life?
It means surrendering to that greater part of ourselves to bring clarity to our life and our actions. The one common attribute in all the successful people I’ve known over the years is that they are inner driven.
They listen to themselves first and then check out their answers by gathering additional information and consulting with other people. They, however, make the final decision, and this is often in the face of tremendous outside resistance.
For example, FedEx Founder Fred Smith, made decisions at age 27 that absolutely defied convention. “You could never have an airline for packages,” said the experts.
And when the company began operations, it seemed like the experts were right... On that first night in March, 1973, there was a total of six packages – four of which were from our own employees.
Yet, with no cash in the bank and facing enormous debt and growing payroll, Fred led the team to victory, sometimes with nothing but that strong inner direction, drive and sheer will (or intuitive) power.
Knowing that there was a need and intending to build an organization to fill it, he prevailed. Today, nearly 45 years and $50 billion a year later, he continues to
