I put rejection in one hand and it’s opposite, for me, confidence, in the other hand. Rejection showed itself as a lump of coal, confidence as a silver sphere. Confidence was heavier and full of bravado. Rejection was adamant that people just wouldn’t be interested.
Suspend beliefs and do this exercise. Stand up and do it exactly the way Magick goes through it.
Bottom line for me: A strong sense of confidence to finish the book and get it to market. The fear of rejection was not only gone, it turned into a challenge.
